Big Man Foundation

WHO WE ARE:

The Big Man Foundation is a Warrenton, Virginia-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit charity dedicated to alleviating and preventing hardships for athletic coaches and their families. Founded by Casey Kroll in 2020, our mission is twofold:

1. Supporting Coaches and Their Families: We offer grants and resources to coaches and their families during times of tragedy.
2. Promoting Health and Wellness: We take a proactive role in the coaching community, advocating for health and wellness.

WHAT WE ARE RAISING FUNDS FOR:

Funds raised during the 2024 Give Local Piedmont campaign will be instrumental in:

1. Expanding Our Mission: Supporting athletic coaches and coaching families facing unimaginable hardships.
2. AED Accessibility: Funding projects to increase availability and access to lifesaving AED devices in public parks, youth practice facilities, and gyms in the Piedmont area and beyond.

ABOUT US:

The Big Man Foundation was born from Warrenton native Casey Kroll's experiences as a college football player and coach. Inspired by his mentor Coach Jamal Powell's battle with cancer, Casey founded BMF to honor Coach Powell's core values of service and selflessness. Together, we strive to make a lasting impact in the lives of coaches and their families.
