About Us

Aging Together is a regional nonprofit organization committed to connecting people to resources and communities to improve quality of life as they age.  We represent a collaborative effort in Culpeper, Fauquier, Madison, Orange & Rappahannock Counties with over 150 partner agencies and providers dedicated to ensuring our region has the services and supports necessary for aging adults.

Your donation today helps us expand our initiatives designed to help older adults diagnosed with dementia and other related cognitive diseases,

Research shows that the use of iPads by people with dementia and Alzheimer's can improve cognitive, mobility and communication skills

  • Video calling with friends and family to stay connected, helping prevent social isolation
  • Stay cognitively active by reading the news or books, watching favorite media, and playing interactive games helps aging adults maintain or improve their memory and processing skills
  • iPads can monitor the movements and habits of dementia patients, assisting their caregivers

Our Pets for Seniors campaign is a new offshoot of our Tech for Seniors donation program.

Testimonials

November, 2020  - Culpeper County Chamber of Commerce awards Aging Together their Non-Profit of the Year Award

"We were delighted to receive 2 iPads last week and started using them immediately. So far, we’ve used them for tele-health visits, and capturing pictures of the residents in various activities.  These photos we email to families as they are not able to see their loved ones in our building due to the COVID-19 virus".                                          - Community Relations Director, The Villa at Suffield Meadows, 2020

"I have to say that the guide you all have released is fantastic, and I refer to it regularly for families in that general area."

S. Fields, Clinical Care Coordinator, Memory and Aging Care Clinic (MACC), University of Virginia Health System
