To assist the once homeless and those with financial need in furnishing permanent homes with used household items that have been donated by caring individuals, while ensuring that not one donation is disposed of in a landfill.

Our purpose:

To support and conduct non-partisan research, educational and informational activities to increase public awareness of homelessness, reuse of household goods, and general waste reduction.

To support homeless shelters and community service boards in Northern Virginia.

To support waste reduction by promoting the reuse of household items that may be disposed of in landfills.

To assist homeless individuals and families as they transition from homelessness to permanent housing, as well as those with financial need by providing used household items.
