William "Bill" Stokes Memorial Fund
2020 and 2021 was a challenging year for everyone, but the Hall adapted! Buchanan Hall helped to develop and host an open-air farmers market. This weekly event from May to September allows the community to gather in fellowship and provides local small businesses and farmers a place to sell their goods. The Hall also opened a co-op commercially licensed commissary kitchen to allow small enterprises a space to work and create with a manageable cost associated. The Hall became home to Piedmont Symphony Orchestra, allowing them to practice and live stream concerts due to their usual area no longer allowing outside guests. These are just a few of the fabulous groups, events, and people the Hall supports annually. Please help us continue to be your local community center.
For nearly a century, Buchanan Hall has served as a cornerstone of the Upperville community. At the Hall, we have the pleasure of hosting community events that range from musical and theatrical productions to school proms, flower shows, networking functions, and church services. Perhaps most notably, the Hall is known for its local concerts. Buchanan Hall's stage has been graced with unforgettable performances by both local and legendary musicians.
