Jeepin for Paws

This year, Jeepin For Paws is raising funds to purchase and renovate a building that will allow us to take in and care for more cats than ever before.

Every week, we are faced with the same heartbreaking reality.

Cats are at risk of euthanasia—not because they are sick, not because they are beyond help—but because there simply isn’t enough space.

And too often, we are forced to say no.

Not because we don’t care.
Not because we don’t want to help.
But because we physically have nowhere to put them.

That’s what The Second Chance Shelter Project is here to change.

We have the opportunity to purchase and convert a dedicated building into two open-concept cat housing rooms—a safe, calm space where cats can decompress, receive care, and wait for their second chance.

    This isn’t just a shed.          

It’s:

• A place where cats can land safely instead of being turned away

• A space designed to reduce stress and support recovery                                                                 

• The difference between “at risk” and “adoptable”                                                                           

Two rooms means dozens more cats we can say YES to.

To turn this building into a fully functional, safe environment for cats, we need to:

• Purchase and deliver the structure

• Run electricity for lighting, safety, and daily care

• Install insulation and walls to create a stable, low-stress environment

• Add climate control to keep cats safe in all seasons

• Set up proper flooring, sanitation solutions, and housing for the cats

Every piece of this project directly impacts how many lives we can save.
