Our mission is to provide immediate financial emergency assistance to Fauquier County residents undergoing a temporary hardship due to unforeseen events in their lives.

More About Us

For almost 30 years PEOPLE HELPING PEOPLE (PHP) assisted Fauquier County  residents to overcome a temporary hardship due to loss of employment, reduction in work hours, health issues and/or death in the family; we also assist the elderly on a fixed income. We pay utility bills to prevent disconnection of service, this is critical when medical equipment is required for health reasons. We assist with paying rent/mortgage to avoid eviction from home thereby preventing homelessness.  Our office  is still closed to the public. We receive applications via phone during our regular office hours, Monday through Thursday from 9:00 am till noon.  

Please continue to donate. All donations will help us to provide rental and mortgage assistance to less fortunate families in our community  to avoid eviction  from their home. Many of our clients have lost their jobs due to the Government personnel reductions and also the last government closure.  We are here to help. Thank you.
