Piedmont CPR

350,000 Americans suffer sudden cardiac death every year. During sudden cardiac death, for every 1 minute without resuscitation, the likelihood of survival drops 10%. Unfortunately, sudden cardiac death rates are higher in rural areas.

Piedmont CPR received 501(c)(3) status in late December 2025. Our mission is to provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and first aid instruction opportunities to Fauquier and surrounding counties. This will improve the health and emergency preparedness of the residents of the Northern Piedmont area of Virginia. These courses will be taught through the curriculum offered by the American Heart Association. 

Our goal is to provide high quality CPR instruction to at least 200 people in the Northern Piedmont region of Virginia in 2026. If we can provide these classes for an inexpensive price, more people will be able to afford them. A donation to Piedmont CPR can literally save the life of someone in your community.

Piedmont CPR has already set up classes to serve Fauquier County Public Schools, Fauquier Community Child Care (FCCC), Fauquier Parks & Rec, and Bull Run Mountain Natural Area Preserve.
