ABOUT RCPS PTO

MISSION
To support and enrich the educational experience of all Rappahannock County Public Schools students by fostering strong relationships between families, schools, and the community through volunteerism, fundraising, and service.

PHILOSOPHY
The RCPS PTO believes strong schools are built through strong community involvement. We are committed to supporting students, staff, and families by helping create positive and meaningful educational experiences both inside and outside the classroom. Through collaboration, volunteer efforts, and community partnerships, we strive to promote school spirit, encourage student success, recognize staff dedication, and provide opportunities that strengthen our school community as a whole.

HOW WE SUPPORT RCPS
Throughout the school year, the PTO proudly organizes, funds, and supports initiatives such as:

• Teacher appreciation meals and staff support events
• Holiday Shop for elementary students
• Woot Woot Wagon student celebrations
• Fun Run and community fundraising events
• DARE Day participation and student activities
• Scholarships for graduating seniors
• Classroom support and special school requests
• Volunteer opportunities and family engagement events
