Rappahannock Association for Arts and Community

RAAC is a nonprofit, all-volunteer organization dedicated to building community through the arts. For over 40 years, RAAC has brought people together through music, plays, performances, exhibits, workshops, films, and arts education for all ages. Our mission is rooted in the belief that art fosters connection, creativity, and a vibrant civic life.

That mission now extends to one of the county’s most beloved landmarks: the Little Washington Theatre. For decades, this 80-year-old movie house has been a cultural hub for both the town and the wider Rappahannock community. As its new stewards, RAAC is embarking on a bold plan to renovate and expand the theater, preserving the theater’s historic charm while improving it to serve an even greater role in community life.
