Offline donations are donations your organization receives in the form of checks that Northern Piedmont Community Foundation deposits on your behalf for Give Local Piedmont.
Though we enjoy the excitement of one day of online giving for the community, we understand that some prefer to give with paper checks and we want to ensure that their philanthropy is included in your giving day total. Following are our policies regarding checks received by your organization for Give Local Piedmont:
- Checks must be made payable to Northern Piedmont Community Foundation with the designated organization’s name on the memo line. They must be dated between April 28 and May 12.
- Check donations are counted toward the organization’s final donation total and the bonus pool funds, however they will not be counted for prizes.
- Checks must be delivered to NPCF no later than 5:00 PM on Monday, May 11.

- Please collect an email address for the donor so we can confirm the donation.
- Be sure to send the donor an acknowledgement for their tax purposes.
- If a donor is contributing to more than one organization, please have them write a separate check for each organization.
- We are unable to accept cash.
