Sponsor a Scientist for a Day Field Trip

A $750 donation funds a Scientist for a Day field trip for 75 elementary students!

Our Scientist for a Day field trips give K-12 students the opportunity to participate in the scientific research and conservation work happening at the Clifton Institute. On every field trip we teach students how to identify native plants and animals and we practice making observations, asking questions, and making claims that are backed up with evidence. We also give them time to explore and connect on a personal level to their local landscape. We also provide in-class visits to school groups before their field trips to integrate what their learn here at Clifton into the classroom as much as possible.
