Since 2019, the number of cats in our care has more than doubled. RappCats has also ramped up its focus on spay/neuter campaigns to control cat populations. In 2022, we arranged and funded over 200 procedures for cats and kittens throughout Rappahannock County.
As our mission grows, so does our need for your support. RappCats runs entirely on donations. Give Local Piedmont is the major opportunity for us to raise funds each year.

RappCats finds loving homes for cats and kittens in need throughout Rappahannock County. We also:
- Operate the RappCats Adoption Center, a cage-free, no-kill, state-approved shelter
- Fund spay/neuter, vaccinations, and veterinary care
- Help families in need with vet bills
